I read that blind sarracenia rhizomes could still grow. I decided to try:

A couple months ago, I got a Sarracenia 'Janus' with a broken rhizome. 25% was still attached to the growth point, while 75% just had a good set of roots. I potted the "barren" piece and treated it just like the "live" one. It has developed 2 growth points and has small pitchers 2-3 inches / 50-75 mm tall. :D
