Hi all, my Neps and Sarracenias are all healthy and thriving in my current home, in a South facing window with lots of air flow most of the year (they hang out in the yard on rainy days or mornings I'min the yard, I fried one years ago by leaving it out in the afternoonin DC)... I'm moving to a row house in Baltimore with an East facing porch and east/west facing windows. Trying to determine the best way to move them in November. Should I move them all to a darker room for winter and let them adapt to next season on the east facing porch? Will they be OK in a west facing window if they don't respond well to the porch?

Looking at the photos i see a N. ventrata and some type of sarrs both can take as much light as a window can offer. As a warning plants have to be accumulated to big increases of light.

Thanks! I was back at the house yesterday and realized we have awnings over the windows blocking harsh afternoon sun and the two windows without the awnings are set back deep in between us and our neighbors. I'm worried about how they might adjust to the sudden drop in "direct" window filtered sun... since we're coming out of summer anyway, will they be OK for the colder shorter days inside and get them out to the east facing porch in the late spring?
