Looking for care tips on my new Utricularia blanchetii. My last guy ended up with a large aphid infestation. How much sun and water do these guys like? And how long does it take them to flower if given proper care? He has a good amount of distilled water he’s just now soaking in currently (which is why his soil isn’t completely saturated yet).

I grow mine in a grow tent with moderate light. When Sarracenia NorthWest used to sell them, they would recommend:
Partial sun. A south window with several hours of direct sunlight is ideal.
Use 1 part peat moss and 1 part perlite (or washed river sand)
But I use the recipe from Peter D'Amato: 3 parts peat to 1 part sand (or perlite).

good luck.
