Hello,

I'm wondering if someone can help me ID these guys. They were just random at a nursery and super dried out when I got them.

Thank you!

They’re both probably hybrids, which means it’s going to be pretty much impossible to ID them with 100% certainty. But they definitely look like cool plants! I would guess the first one might be an oreophila x purpurea cross since those tend to have the flared, upturned lids that yours have. The second one is harder since that plant is in a little rougher shape but it likely has leucophylla and/or minor in it, which would explain the white coloration.

Thank you so much!
I assumed they would be hybrids of some sort but wasn't sure how easy they'd be to identify, if at all.
I wasn't sure if the taller one is supposed to look like that? They seem to be opening up a lot now.

they look inside grown, to really make them color up and grow in normal proportions they would have to be grown in full sun. that would make a identification more doable.
