What if I wrap a little bit of moist tissue on the tendrils to keep humidity? Would it be better than spraying?

I wouldn't do that, I think it could possibly mess up its growth. How high is the humidity you're growing it in? Normal household humidity is usually sufficient, but that might not be the case since you're in Arizona.
