Hi, I purchased these three baby cape sundew to start cultivating carnivorous plants. They came to me almost two months ago, they are growing and producing mucilage during the morning and night. As I have no experience, I would like to hear experiences with this plant from you.
For it to have more red color in new leafs, do I need to increase exposure to sunlight? we are in the cold months in my country (brazil), does that make growth slower? Thanks!

(Sorry the english errors)

Welcome to the forum.
The old leaves have more red color because they were getting more light.
If you increase the light you give to the plant, the red color will come back.
But increase the light slowly, so it doesn't burn the leaves by changing too quickly.
Drosera capensis will grow slower in Winter if the temperatures get very cold, near 0 C.
If the temperatures are moderate, the plant should grow all year long.
Good growing,
Mike
