I've recently aquired a Bristletooth flytrap and have noticed a little green leaf/pitcher rising from somewhere near the rhizome. It seems to be a sarr of some sort. The top of the pitcher is turning black, should I try to remove it or should I leave it be?

Looks like a small division forming on the back end of the rhizome to me. I'd leave it be for now and wait to see what it grows into to be sure. My guess is that you'll have a new Bristletooth flytrap by the end of summer or by next season unless I'm mistaking a Sarracenia for the start of a division which is possible!
