Hello all,
I was just going to germinate some drosera seeds, but I don't know wether or not to use sphagnum or peat.I saw a lot of people recommending peat, but if I use that I will have to go through the trouble of rinsing it.With sphagnum, there is not a very big risk of algae if I don't rinse sphagnum.
So,I want your true and honest opinion:Which soil is best for sowing drosera seeds?
Thanks and good night
Max

The Better Gro moss from Lowes is what I use and I have good success with it. I chop it up fairly fine for the top layer when starting seeds. That way the seeds don't fall down into the gaps.
