Two of my cape sundews have this wierd bulbous growth coming out of their side.

There is also something similar growing on the side of my drosera binata.

I would like to know what they are and if I should do anything about them? It might be something very common, but since I am new to this, I just haven't seen it yet.

That looks like some sort of pest gall. I don't see it on the binata. You might apparently they can be caused by parasites such as fungus, bacteria, etc. Not sure how to treat for it. My gut says Bayer 3-in-1 but I haven't used it before.

The Red growth on the Drosera capensis is an aerial root.
They are fairly common on mature-ish plants.
It will grow down to the media and dig in.
I believe the structure on your Drosera binata is the same thing, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.
