I decided to take advantage of the warm March weather Charlotte, NC is having and repot my many flytraps! Hard to believe all in the big pot came from 3 individual plants! I also have a pot of three seedlings that survived their winter dormancy in the smaller pot! Yay!

I don't think I've ever seen flytraps with such wide petioles. Are these seed-grown? Usually I would assume large petioles like that and all green leaves mean they were grown in low-light, but you can never be so certain...

Hey, that looks similar to my pot of flytraps that I grew from seed - the bigger ones are about 2-1/2 years old and the smaller ones are almost a year. They are all just starting to wake up from dormancy so they're not as big as they were last summer.

Matt’s right. These plants are just emerging from winter dormancy so their petioles are still the wide winter ones. I live in Charlotte, NC so I just let them overwinter outside, seeing as they grow natively a few hours away from where I live.

The big pot of plants all came from 3 plants I purchased from Joel’s Carnivores on Amazon. The small pot has my 3 seedlings.
