When I received it the traps were exceeding 1.4 inches, I’m not quite sure what “typical” sized traps are though to be frank. The cultivars description is in its name though!

I'd say the average size trap for a Venus flytrap is somewhere around 1.25 to 1.3 inches. So 1.4 is above average. I'd consider anything over 1.5 a giant, I guess. At least, that seemed to be the historical set point for "giant" flytraps.
