When I received it the traps were exceeding 1.4 inches, I’m not quite sure what “typical” sized traps are though to be frank. The cultivars description is in its name though! :)

I'd say the average size trap for a Venus flytrap is somewhere around 1.25 to 1.3 inches. So 1.4 is above average. I'd consider anything over 1.5 a giant, I guess. At least, that seemed to be the historical set point for "giant" flytraps.
