It was outdoors I’m in WA it is coming to April now, but my dads one I got him same time is indoors and doing a lot better. He didn’t repot his like I did and mine is only now hanging up. He had a lot of new growth with the pitchers it self but mine is growing leaves and the pitchers aren’t growing anywhere near the speed his is. I only have one left that was there when I got it and now it is starting to shrivel. But I been getting new leaves so im not sure now.

So, since I do not know what your conditions are like there in your area, please tell the average temperature and relative humidity conditions the plant was in. (You mentioned it was outdoors) Also, please describe the lighting situation and water TDS/quality.

Describing those will help folks help you. As far as the pitchers drying up before they develop, I believe that is usually a sign of not enough humidity, but it could also be too much sun, too cold environment...

I have added a photo of the temperature this week which has been what it’s like lately. It’s been undercover but now indoors at the window with moderate sunlight mainly afternoon light but doesn’t directly hit it.
The water lately has been tap water as I’m in the rural country I can’t get much distilled water but My dad waters his plant with the same water and his is doing great. The weather definitely is not too cold the coir is always moist not damp. It’s been humid these days but I have it indoors above a humidifier now a few hours a day.

It sounds as though it's going to be just fine, it has likely just slowed down from having a shorter photoperiod. Mine did that in winter too. Plus, it sounds as though the one your dad got was in better shape from the beginning.

Nepenthes do much better when eating. I would suggest that you go to the pet store and buy a dozen crickets, at least medium sized, maybe a few dozen so you don't have to go back to get more soon. While you're in town to get the crickets, get some distilled water.

Fill the pitcher about 1/3 full with distilled water and stuff the pitcher 1/2 full of crickets. Crush their little skulls first so that they can't climb out or chew through the pitcher. Throw the bag with the crickets you don't use into the freezer to save them for later. The plant will take in the nutrients from the cricket soup (it may stink a little, but Spring is close, and the plant can go outside soon). It will probably start to grow quicker, and the new leaves will produce traps.

Also, I would suggest that you flush the media with the distilled water as well, and keep it damp just like you're doing.

Come Spring, when it stays above 50°F, put it outside in indirect light and it will do its thing.

Edit: Stupid American moment, I thought WA meant Washington state, not Western Australia. You're in Fall now, put it outside in indirect light. Outdoor, indirect light is immensely better than direct light through a window. You may also be able to still catch bugs to stuff into that pitcher.
Once the temps drop below 50°F (10°C) bring it back in for the winter.

Ahah that’s okay I didn’t say Australia so I get the confusion. I feed it regularly with bugs like flies that I catch alive while it’s outside it gets mozzies. But I will put it back outside I need to hang it somewhere because my cats run all over my plants  . His was better but I also may have stunted it’s growth by repotting it sadly. I’m going town tomorrow pick up some distilled water for his and mine and do you recommend soaking it from the top or bottom? I water from the bottom while my dad pours it over the roots and it drains straight away. I noticed now inside, repotted with a better mix of coir and perlite, above a humidifier and me hand feeding it there has been new little pitchers but it used to do that then go brown. I’ll take it outside when it’s sunny and bring it in but the leaves went brown from maybe too much sun? It gets to 40C here that’s why I have mainly native plants :D .

If you can hang it outside where it will be shaded all day, that would be ideal. If not, maybe just direct morning sunlight as it's less intense. I hang mine under my porch so that it gets a couple of hours of direct sunlight then shade the rest of the day. (Not right now, it's 10°F/-10°C) You can see the hanger on the pillar.

I don't get quite to 40°C, maybe 35 or 36°C, but it handles the heat just fine. However, my summertime relative humidity will be right around 60ish% day and 90%+ at night.
Water however you want, just as long as the media stays moist, not swimming like a sundew. Don't let it sit in water unless it's hot and dry, then maybe fill the tray it's sitting in with a cm of water in the morning and see if the water gets absorbed or not. Adjust as necessary.
You got this!
