Hey everyone,
This is my first post, so I hope this is in the right place. Walmart just got a new batch of fly traps in and they are obviously not dormant. It’s already the beginning of February, and I am trying to decide if I need to skip dormancy, or if it would be more beneficial to try to get a couple months of cold in them. I’m in Alabama and the weather will potentially stay cold enough to allow dormancy through March and possibly the beginning of April. Although it will probably be too warm before April. I may only get a little over a month of dormancy from them, but is that better than nothing? I guess the question is should I throw em out in the cold now or just skip and wait till spring?
Thank you for any feedback!
