Im about to get my first ping and I'm contemplating on where I should put it but most likely outdoors since we don't really have a gnat problem indoors. Any ideas? i heard that they don't like much direct sunlight. Also the kind of ping I'm getting is the pinguicula emarginata x Weser

Remember what I said about emarginata? It's homophyllous. I would try something like cyclosecta, debbertiana, esseriana.

Homophyllous species hate bright light, I'm unsure of the cross, but I would personally not purchase that to put in very bright light. Maybe, given your humidity, if you have a shadier locaiton, you can put in P. gigantea.
