There seems to be a grass growing in my sarracenia Purpurea, anyone know what is is and if its harmful to the plant

The best I can tell is that it is a type of papyrus, which is also a water loving plant. It will compete with the sarr for space and water, so I would remove it. You may just want to keep cutting it off just below the soil surface so that eventually the roots die. That might be less disruptive than trying to pull it out.
