Hi all!

I've had a flytrap on my kitchen windowsill since the start of the year and managed to keep it alive through a cold winter dormancy (I thought I had killed it). As soon as spring came around and it rose from the dead, I realised it's the first houseplant I've ever had success with and now I'm hooked! I really wish I had some before and after pictures, it's 5x the plant it was when I first bought it.

I can already tell this is a rabbit hole of a hobby but I'm excited to expand my collection and keep learning about these fascinating plants!

I do now!

The smaller pot is what the whole plant was in originally, I repotted it into the 2L self watering pot with sphagnum and propagating sand about a month ago at the start of spring.

It seems pretty happy to me, but any advice on what I could be doing differently would be appreciated!

Thanks! I have been taking leaving it outside for an hour or so each day since it doesn't fit on the windowsill anymore. I think I'll eventually keep it outside once it acclimates a bit more.
