Hello I just received my Nepenthes Alata in the mail as of 9/23/20. I had them under 2 grow lights of the same type. At first I had them between 12-13.25” From the tallest point of the plant to the grow light. I started noticing what might be a glossy burn or something on the petals, where it might be turning red from the light bulb. So I moved the lights away to where it is now up to 17” away from the tallest point of the plant and on the 9/25/20 I received an reflective insulator to help with loss of light and maybe to help store humidity once I get my humidifier in the mail.

But as for now the plants are in the greenhouse getting the humidity and sunlight it needs!

So my question is does anyone know how to use these bulbs with carnivorous plants, specifically for Nepenthes?
