I was looking at some electronic wine/champagne chillers on ebay and they were like $10-$20. Am I crazy, or would this totally work for keeping the roots cool if you wanted to grow darlingtonia indoors? The holders seem too small for a 6 inch pot, but surely there's a way around that?

I'm not an expert on Cobras, but I am a Chef. The wine chiller would probably work, but only short term.
A $10-$20 chiller is intended for the occasional bottle, not 24/7 use, I predict that it would likely burn out within a couple of months.
If you have no other options right now, it'll do until you can figure out something more long term.

A cheaper alternative is keep a bottle of distilled water in your fridge.
Top water your cobra with the cold water daily.
Collect and filter the runoff water.
Put it back in the fridge.
Repeat.

Thanks man! Didn't occur to me that it wouldn't last. Well, it's valued at around S119 CAD (I'm Canadian) in real stores, but I noticed I could get it for $10 from kijiji, but still you're right, it's not doing what it's intended!
