I just received this plant from the mail yesterday and it looks decently healthy but I found out a couple troubling things from the seller. He said that this plant has never gotten nighttime drops or any bugs. Would this have any permanent or lasting effects? Since my terrarium gets down to 54 F at night I kept him out of there and put it in a plastic bag with some ice for acclimation. How long should I keep this up? Also In the closeup picture I noticed some slime on the sphagnum, I removed most of it and put in some new strands but some remains as well as what looks like mold on the side of the pot. I’m guessing from no air circulation. Can someone please explain if this needs to be treated or can hurt my other plants? Thanks.
