Two of my four nepenthes, which I believe are all alatas, have sprouted new vines at their base. Does this mean the old part of the plant will no longer grow or do I just have two healthy vines in one plant?

You’ll just have 2 growth points on each plant. Nepenthes usually put out basal shoots when they’re stressed. Your Nepenthes are looking good, keep doing what you’re doing.
