Any one ever tried the nectar?
To me it varies with each plant, Maxima is highly sweet, but reinwardtiana just sweet enough to taste.
Any other flavors of nepenthes nectar?

My Spectabilis x Spathulata has made some interesting secretions. Usually the older pitchers tends to get this nectar around the rim that eventually gets a taffy-like consistency.There's also drops of a similar substance that form on parts of the leaves and stem. I've tasted both of this stuff before. Sometimes it's sweet but other times there's no flavor.

I've not tasted it but my fingers get sticky when feeding my neps..especially my Sanguinea and Ventricosa. Now I'm curious. Thanks. Lol!
