If my purp sarr is growing a flower stalk is it too late to repot?

I'd say you're still in the safe zone to re-pot. But not 100 percent sure..

Every late winter to spring when I repot, some of my plants have flower stalks on them. Sometimes already 8-10 inches high. Never caused a problem. You should be fine.
