Hi, I bought this Nep in labelled. Please could someone assist with an I.D.
It’s the only CP out of my 22 that I don’t have an I.D on.

Interesting observation @kategoricalkarnivore
I just googled I can certainly see the similarity. It’s not something I’ve ever considered since the only three pitchers that it’s had while in my possession have grown to no more than 4 inches in length and about half an inch in diameter.
The peristome also looks a lot less extravagant than my known x Miranda. The stem of the plant also doesn’t look as much of a vine as my x Miranda. Both are cuttings.

Take a look at my Miranda for a comparison.

They look different because the one you didn’t know the ID for is making lower pitchers and your identified Miranda is making upper pitchers. They make these when they get to the vining stage, which is also why the growth looks different. Your “unidentified” Miranda hasn’t reached the vining stage yet.

That’s interesting. Thanks for the info. I’ll have to keep an eye out to see how big it gets. Do you think it’s pitchers are so small because it’s young?
Other than being a fairly new cutting I don’t know much about the age of the plant.

Many different factors play into pitcher size but yeah they are smaller because it’s younger than your other one.
