Hi, I'm currently trying to germinate nepenthes seeds and I watched a video online that says that if I put them under the sun, it probably will cook them and kill them. Can you guys tell me if that's true and should how much success did you guys have germinating nepenthes seeds.

The sun is probably too much light and heat, yes. The seeds are best started indoors under lights, to keep them from being dried out and killed as soon as they sprout.
