Hi! I wanted to ask if there is such a thing as a maximum growth size (height and diameter of rosettes) for S. purpurea? I have repotted my plant from a rounded pot to a bigger 13x13x13 cm pot. It just doesn't stop growing to a point that the new growths tend to squash the older pitchers to the side. Since winter is coming, I had thought of just leaving them there and repot them on spring. If so, should I be more concerned on the height or the perimeter of the pot? And if I decide not to repot them, will that be still fine?

Thanks!
Oli

Left to their own devices they grow outwards and soon make large rosettes of up to metre diameter, although rot at the centre then becomes more of a problem, so the centre dies back and some side shoots survive leaving what looks like a series of plants in a circle round an empty centre, which eventually they grow back into.
