I decided to feed one tiny little trap a piece of bloodworm (blue circled trap). Bloodworms are very nutritious, so it has been digesting it for a week. During that time, 2 other traps closed for some reason, and just opened today with a surprise: they each caught a tiny bug (traps circled in red).
I thought such a small fly trap clone in an indoor bog terrarium growing in live sphagnum would not be able to hunt without help. I guess I was wrong.
The tiny bugs are clearly not as nutritious as bloodworms because the traps only stayed closed for a few days.
