Flora of North America has a key for distinguishing Sarracenia species.

https://www.plantdelights.com/blogs/art ... sarracenia has a good species description with photos.

http://cpphotofinder.com/ has a large collection of species photographs to help you ID your pitcher plant.

But a big problem is the enormous numbers of hybrids and complex hybrids and backcrossed hybrids.
