This is my first time with sundews, they all are outside on the patio in full sun in a tray method, using sphagnum and sand, the dews are dewing now, but is the Petiolaris in the right way, it seems to love the heat, but should I be keeping it moist is that fine or should it be drier? It's been putting out traps and dewing and caught insects already, just wanted to know how to keep this one in best condition for its climate preference I have researched but haven't found as much info on the Petiolaris or complex sundews, it sure is pretty, am I keeping it too moist I don't want to drown it or cause rotting but so far it seems happier than when it first arrived. Which is a good sign, just wondering what different requirements for this one

Sits in the tray lives with Venus flytrap and sundews, but I don't know should be in standing water in the tray, I have notices the crown puts out new traps but the outer edge of the crown does seem to be brown and the old traps start browning at the base first, is this a problem starting, I will research the browning heart to know what to look for, if anybody have further knowledge on this could really help and want to see this thriving

Oops I think browning heart comes for pinguicula plants, but still wondering if this should be sitting in the moisture level that other sundews and Venus flytrap enjoy, here is the situation they are in together there is about 1/4" to 1/2" of water in bottom of their tray.

Has been catching a couple bugs and is sending out new traps, but there is a brown ridge around the edge of the crown and I clipped the dead leaves, but I am concerned it's soil is too moist causing the browning decay? Should I remove from the tray method and allow to dry a bit and how much I don't want to kill or shock the plant but I do not want rotting?

Oops I am sorry for so many posts this is my first time, just wanting to know if it likes to be as wet as other sundews, it is dewing and I am wondering maybe the brown edge is from salts or minerals leeching from the play sand, I rinsed it really well but I noticed the sphagnum/sand media has developed an odor, holding too much moisture? Just wondering what I can do to make it more suitable the potting media is my confusion and the amount of water it likes, I read that it's from Australia originally and likes a hot climate, I don't believe we have a problem with heat and sun here, just wondering how swampy and what soil composition works best
