My grandma this morning watered her plants, my plants was outside so I checked on her and my plants. They had little droplets of the house water on the pot, she knows not to water them so she goes around them. Will this be potentially dangerous to the plants? Should I rinse the plant and pot with distilled water by running distilled water through the pot/media?

a one time mist of some hose water shouldn't be too detrimental or anything. if you are worried about it, a top watering to flush and tossing what drains through out should be more than sufficient.

If it is municipal water it may be soft enough for watering VFT's. Check the city test report or test it yourself to make sure. My tap water is good to go but I always let it sit a day or two in the watering pot before using so the chlorine can gas off.

Well water on the other hand tends to be too hard. A one time mistake watering won't do much harm but do it often enough and the minerals will build up in the soil and poison the plant.
