I want to grow some sarracenia indoors, under a grow light that's been keeping my flytraps happy, but there isn't much room under the light. Are there any sarracenia small enough to do well in a 4" tall pot with about 6" of headroom, or do they all get way too tall for that?

I'd suggest Sarracenia psittacina or S. purpurea.

The psittacinas grow in a most recumbent habit.
The purpurea is a low grower. If the pitchers ever reach 6 inches tall, it will take many years.

I think these two are your best bet.
That's my two cents worth.

Good growing,
Mike

I'll go with purps, thank you. They're very nice plants.

Well, if you're going with a purp, I would suggest the subsp. venosa or better yet Sarracenia rosea. But that's just me.
