I have an eddy. I grow it in highland conditions. I have only had it since July but it seems to be doing well. It is the size of a half dollar, so I have a looooong way to go.

If you get one, please do not go through SouthBay traps. I got mine from there and then learned that they have a murky reputation around poaching eddys.

My comment was edited, so I will just say make sure to research your supplier to ensure that your plant isn't the result of poaching.

My supplier actually has a very great reputation in the carnivorous plant community and ill be disclosing their info when I secure the plant for you guys to go on and check them out!I am very happy to see it does fine in highland /intermediate conditions and from what others say the plant isn't picky at all so I'm super stoked!

And if you are by any chance referring to south bay traps I can assure you I'm not as I've heard a good deal of horror stories about them

$350 for a TC Eddie is pretty insane IMO. I got my SG plant for $325 and it was almost 3" across when it arrived. As for care, it has been a slow but consistent grower in intermediate/highland conditions. I've noticed that temperatures below 55 at night really slow its growth, it seems much happier in the 57-60 range.
