Hi everyone,
i just bought my first pitcher plant! and i am super excited to see how it will do in my room.
however, i need some help with setting up the area i will keep it in.
how does one start out with a new Nepenthes pitcher plant? i would like to hang it in my room, but i'm afraid it won't get enough light. also, if hanging is not an option should i put it in a high pot to make sure the pitchers don't sit on the counter/table?

please give me all your tips for starting care for a pitcher plant, all of the tips are welcomed.
i am a beginner, i do have a venus flytrap but i have never owned a pitcher :)

p.s. the pitchers are kinda dented and look a little weak, is something wrong with them?

I'm no expert (also a newbie ) I have 1 medium and one small pitcher plant, I would recommend hanging it but it doesn't really matter looks good like that, they need a lot of sun (I give mine 2 to 3 hours of semi direct sun) and much humidity, carefully try poping the dent pitcher back to his normal but if he doesn't its probably getting old, but remember I'm no expert its just what others told me and things I do, hope this works a little

So i hung it near my window for now and pointed my ceiling light towards it. Its fall now so winter will be approaching. Im thinking/hoping that will help with the light requirements.
