Hi everyone. I have a few utric vulgaris seedlings in a plastic container with distilled water. A few of them look like they are dying. Their traps are too small to catch anything. Any help would be appreciated!

Most smaller ultrics feed off of microorganisms. If you have them in pure water, they probably don't have any critters to eat. Put some CP-safe materials (preferably ones from a growing plant's pot) and a dead leaf or two into the water, those will decay and feed things for the ultrics to eat. If you have a water tray that constantly or near-constantly has water and assorted debris in it, that water should work as well.

They don't grow well in pure, 7 ph water. First, cover the bottom with some peat, dead leaves, and a bit of sand or washed pebbles. Fill with distilled water, wait for it to settle for a day, scoop out floating peat, THEN put it in
