It's been 1 month and my drosera burmannii seeds have not germinated yet. I spray them with rain water every second day, and are in pots with 100 percent sphagnum moss under lights. They get around 15 hours of light and are in plastic bags for humidity. I planted them on the 7th of December and it's now the 7th of January and there is no sign of growth. The only thing that is growing is the moss they are sown in. Any suggestions?

I've had some forms of D. burmannii take up to 3 months to germinate for me. Warm temperatures will help speed up germination.

Thanks! I was getting worried because this is my second attempt at growing d. burmannii, the others died on me, but the germinated much faster. I now have a bit more hope for these seeds!

The one time I sowed D. burmannii seeds, most of the ones that germinated took 6 months.

I planted some seeds I bought sometime mid-October. They didn't germinate (or at least weren't easily visible) till about Thanksgiving.

Just keep waiting. As others have said, a little extra heat will help

The seeds have finally germinated! I sort of forgot about them but when I took a look I saw two small seedlings. I do not think the germination rate was very large but you just need one plant to start many more! So happy!

My germination rate wasn't very high, either.

My self sowing burmannii seeds (directly from flower above) grow after around 3 weeks, full sun, LFSM...
They mostly washed away from the rain tho, because I didn't move the pot away (the same pot with mother plant).

Burmannii will germinate very fast with hot days in the 80s and 90s. It takes much lnger with cooler temps than that.
