I'm hoping some of you know a little about fruit or fruit trees! We have two on our property that are producing this year and we aren't 100% sure what kind they are. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! If it helps any, we live in Colorado in zone 4b-5b. All I have are pictures of the fruit right now, but I can get pictures of the trees later this evening.

The first one we are thinking is either a peach tree or an apricot tree. The fruits are still small, about the size of a quarter or a little bigger. It has green leaves, but to remember the exact shape of them I'll have to look again tonight when I go home. In the spring it had clumps of white flowers. We haven't been watering it, so all the moisture it's gotten has been from snow and the few rain showers we've gotten.

The second tree we think is a plum tree. It is producing purple fruit. In the spring it had clumps of pink flowers and the tree itself looked like it belonged in China. The tree leaves are really dark green right now, but when they are new leaves they are purple. And in the fall the leaves turn purple as well.

Thank you both! Here is a photo of the plum tree while it was flowering. I still don't have one of the whole apricot tree yet.
