I'm thinking about getting my first pitcher but it would have to be indoors and i've heard they stink really badly. Is this true?

I guess u mean Nepenthes species?
Mine do not smell, yet there might be species that do, i dont know.

The only cps that i have that do smell are flowering pygmy drosera.

I have never had a nep smell unless the pitcher was over fed
Don't worry they are not stinky plants at all and smell no more than any other typical plant

I have about 9 neoenthes that are in doors and they don't smell.

The plant has no smell.
However, the flowers do. They smell differently across species. I know it is subjective, but I would say some stink.
