Of course I give anything a chance, and when looking for cheap and in good amount VFT seeds out of season you may try very different options, one of them was from ebay, just have a look at my Dionaea muscipula plants I got (since the seed arrived I knew they were not it)

I call these "morning glory" (I don't know if they really are those)

There are many phony sellers on ebay selling vft seeds, for $1 from foreign countries, someone posted probably less than a month ago about this, and he has an ID of this species (probably) in it

Since VFT seed photos are for newbies into the hobby hard to find, it may seem that they base on those and sale seed hoping the refunding time ends before they complain from a plant that is not what it is meant to be
