Of course I give anything a chance, and when looking for cheap and in good amount VFT seeds out of season you may try very different options, one of them was from ebay, just have a look at my Dionaea muscipula plants I got (since the seed arrived I knew they were not it)

I call these "morning glory" (I don't know if they really are those)

If it is accepted I may share the seller name for all of us to beware on him

There are many phony sellers on ebay selling vft seeds, for $1 from foreign countries, someone posted probably less than a month ago about this, and he has an ID of this species (probably) in it

just found it, it's a different species they have, might be interested anyway

He had a little more luck lol, he got a picture of a dionaea on the package! mine were just in the plastic bag with nothing else!

Hi coline. Sorry to hear that. But you still keep the plant. Good job there. I too thought it wad morning glory on first look. Sorry i can't identify too.

I just hope they make more seed when they mature as to continue to have them

This happened to me as well. They mostly sell one specific brand and I'm pretty sure they know it's wrong. Here's some pictures from my experience recently:

Since VFT seed photos are for newbies into the hobby hard to find, it may seem that they base on those and sale seed hoping the refunding time ends before they complain from a plant that is not what it is meant to be
