Hey everyone I have made a cephalotus terrarium but I have noticed a white looking fungus growing on them. Any idea of how I can get rid of it? Increase air flow perhaps? Any help would be great thanks guys.

Increase light and airflow.
What kind of air flow do you have now?

At the moment there is no airflow but I have a small computer fan that I'm getting my mate to wire up for me. It's only a 4 cm fan.

I think your issue is a combination of low airflow and low light

I dont want to be the bringer of bad news, but this seems like an early case of milldew and it killed almost all my collection last year (together with overwatering).

As cory said, more light and air circulation will def. help, but to be on the save side i'd also use fungicide since its a pain to get rid of.

Sander is correct just make sure the fungicide is sulfur based

I have the same condition. My plant's aren't in the stage of decline yet so I'm optimistic about it. Given that it's winter time, the air is cold and there isn't exactly a lot of sunlight around. I've moved it in front of an open window for good airflow but for the meantime, is Wettable sulfur safe to use on cephs? It's pretty much pure sulfur with a surfactant to allow it to suspend itself in water.

That's powdery mildew and it loves Cephalotus. I've had it on my Cephalotus that were growing in places with good air flow and it's really hard to get rid of. But there are quite a few products on the market specifically targeting powdery mildew that you can purchase and use to treat your Cephalotus.

Thanks for all the help! I grabbed a fungicide called wettable sulphur which targets powdery mildew and have sprayed that on the plants.
I'll update you all if it works out well for the plants. Cheers

wettable sulphur means you can mixed it with water. See the proportions.
