I only have a few sprigs and they're doing well. I've isolated them into their own container. Could I cut them when they've gotten longer and place it into more spots in the container to grow more? If I can how long/big should I wait for them to get before I can make a safe division?

When your sprigs are no less than a few centimeters long, then you can start trimming them. Any shorter, and the viability drops a bit.
How long that would take doesn't really matter, so long as you don't attempt to cut them as fresh buds.

Then it seems, I have a bit of waiting to do.
