A domestic fly that flys into your house is still a fly lmao

Some tips for you

Yes you plant will enjoy Mr fly and his mates if they have any :)

If you manage to catch the fly and its got some life in it then drop it into a trap
if Mr fly is not alive or hardly moving then you can still drop it in the trap once the trap shuts gently squeeze the trap between your thumb and forefinger about 10 times (this triggers the hairs to simulate the insect is still fighting inside etc)
also this helps to close the trap and seal it like a stomach Sometimes i gently squeeze the trap up to 30 times just to make sure When i say gently i mean like squeezing a new born baby's finger

Just to add

flytraps do not need anything but soil sunlight and water and some loving to grow happy for many years

if you insist on feeding it then always feed a insect 1/3 the size of the trap
