My Bical is almost 1 month in pot from a bare root purchase. no growth yet. it's not looking any worse or better. on bare root plants. what is the time frame for root shock. I know Bicals shut down for periods of time but is this normal.? I have 3 other lowland nepenthes growing very well right next to the bical so I don't think it's my lowland conditions. could be the light. my lights are 1 foot away from the pot tops

I would say the plant is still adapting. Maybe waiting for another 1 week. Check for pests for now. Give them bright direct sunlight and keep the soil moist, not wet. Feed them occasionally with ants when pitchers develop for good growth.
Good Luck!
