I recently bought several large sarrace nia from California carnivores(large) and was wondering if they would flower. I got a S. alata, alata night, 2 leucophyllas, a minor, a purpurea, a flava, a oreophylla sand mt. and a huricane creek white. I really want at least one to flower.

A lot will depend on how large the rhizomes are, whether they have just been divided or not, their age, how stressed they got if they were sent bare rooted and perhaps more importantly the conditions that you give them to grow in. But if any of them are to flower this year my money is on the flava.

cheers
