I think he's refering to a sarracenia but I'm not entirly sure.

Just bumping this thread. I am curious too. Is it recommended to cut the flower stalk of a Sarr, as you would a VFT? Specifically, my Sarr is a purpurea ssp. purpurea.

A flower stalk doesn't take as much energy as a VFT's flower stalk so you can keep it . :D
you can keep it for visual coolness :lol:
But you can't propagated it like just any VFT :(
