I say just lay the disposable pot on its side.
Slice the side and slice the bottom on the same line and the other side.
Pop the pot open.
Move the chunk to the new pot.

But that's just assuming you don't want to remove old media and check on roots.

Or you could just wait until the media is a little dry and just tease it out.
