Whats up CP peeps!
Hey guys is anyone out there using LEDs with good results? My plants just don't get as mush direct sun outside on my balcony to grow to their full potential.
I am not too familiar with indoor growing techniques since I live in Florida and all my plants typically do well on my balcony. My VFTs just want more light than they get. I was looking to buy LEDs and was curious if anyone could send me a link for some good ones.

Many people have said they have had great success with LED grow lights, using very little electricity and emitting almost no heat. Most LED grow lights use 2 colors, red and blue, which focuses on the light spectrum that plants use the most. They have a very long life, lasting 5-10 years with most brands. The downside to LED lights is their cost. They are quite expensive compared to other alternative grow lights, like T8 bulbs that only cost about 10 dollars for two 4 foot lights.



LED lights may help in your situation, but also might be unnecessary. How many hours of direct sunlight do your plants receive?
