Any chance you could give me a tip on how to properly germinate these seeds? Do they need a stratification or is that only when they are older seeds? If you didn't acquire your seeds from a reputable source, I suspect that's your problem. When I've planted fresh seed, it has tremendous germination - no need for any special treatment (like stratification). Growing them to maturity is another issue but getting them to sprout ---> easy.
Godly wrote:Well I purchased the seeds from Cooks Carnivores seems to be pretty well known and respected around the community. Is there a reputable source that you could suggest for high germination rate of seeds for D.regia? As you said, Dean is typically pretty good. However, you may want to buy closer to harvest time (middle of summer to fall - roughly). Mostly I try to purchase from people who actually grow them & stay away from blatant internet scum sellers (there are a number of seed sellers who exist only to harvest money from poor noobs).
