After my sense of sight returned i got to work setting up the ligths... I setup three different levels with three different ranges of spectrum. The CPs all look great under the lights 8-) Now to wait and see

WOW! Nice set up and nice looking plants.

I'm guessing that's a storage rack that you have your plants on, but where did you get it?

Also, where did you get those large flat trays to set the plants in? I'm turning green with envy...

Great looking setup! This makes me think about getting some LED lights sometime. Please keep everyone updated periodically about what happens. We're all learning from each other's experiments. :)

Hehehe... "Kill A Watt"

For the rest, very nice setup indeed, I have a similar setup in mind..
Does anyone know if UV-LEDs are readily available yet? Cause if you'd put in some of those, you'll add some limited anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties to your LED array.
My current roommate loves building electronic stuff so I'll ask him one day to make me a LED array ;)

Thanks for the encouragement everyone~!
It has been 24 hours and the plants haven't jumped off the cart yet. I had been using two of the lights on a few of the plants in the pictures (CPs/Mosses) for a couple of days before and i will say that the mosses in each of the pots have definitely perked up. I was using a 10,000K 55w pc before and wasn't even getting those reactions. I'm not sure if its intensity/ spectrum or what but we'll find out. Once i add the reflective sheeting we'll be good to grow.
I will add that after running a few tests with the 'Kill A Watt' i definitely killed off a few watts. Over all i cut my systems consumption in half and increased growing space by 35% or so. An immediate redirection of out going cash with occur in favor of more CPs :? !!! hahaha
Thanks again, and i'll keep you all posted!

The LED lighting looks very promising... What lumens are you at right now?

The only means of testing the lights have been an old Weston Master II for relative brightness. I'm getting readings from 18-24- depending on depth from 18-12" to 4-6". This should equate to about 1800-2400 foot-candles or 1800-2400 lumens. I'm not sure though. If anyone knows the convertion it would be nice to know. Or how i could test this aspect of the lights.
Day three for the lights and i'm loving it!
