Take 2 plastic cups, in one make 4 tiny holes with a needle or some sort, in the upper side part of the cup, for the toothpicks to get in the holes. And some holes on the bottom of the upper cup. The upper cup will sit atop the lower one, with the help with the toothpicks. The second lower pot acts like a tray. You can fill the tray with water or leave it be without. This will work with starting small plants and when repoting be careful to remove the toothpicks first, so the plant won't stick in your sharp toothpicks.
